Alector Pharmaceuticals Ltd, partner of AstraZeneca in Cyprus, wishes to hire a Commercial Head for its Oncology business unit. The position will report to the Commercial Director.

Main Duties

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals to achieve quantitative targets
• Lead and coach the sales teams, through regular on-the-job training with Medical Representatives
• Ensure adherence to company policies and business conduct standards and industry ethical standards
• Conduct market analysis and collect market data to understand market trends and identify business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
• Monitor sales performance and marketing ROI, providing regular reports to senior management
• Collaborate with regulatory, medical and market access teams to achieve Company targets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field will be considered an advantage
• Registered to the Medical Representatives Association
• Experience of at least 7 years in a pharmaceutical company, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Experience in Oncology will be considered an advantage
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and ethical promotion practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office tools
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
