We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to support our Customer Service team, at our terminal, in Vasiliko, Larnaca, for a 1-year contract, with the potential to be extended.

Your role as a Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the daily communication with external parties (e.g. customers, agents, surveyors, customs and other stakeholders) to ensure smooth cargo handling and/or cargo movement and in general operations of the terminal. Ensuring the correct execution of customers’ orders so they can be processed efficiently and effectively in order to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

We work in rotating morning and afternoon shifts during weekdays, and rotating on-call schedule out of working hours (including weekends).

Responsibilities

Order Processing and Operations Planning:

  • Communication with customers to effectively handle, plan and process orders in the company’s ERP System;
  • Collaboration between customers and other parties (surveyors, agents, customs) for efficient planning and order handling;
  • Checking orders for accuracy and in accordance with customers’ contracts;
  • Verifying the orders in the truck loading system are consistent with the ERP system and reporting is correct;
  • Order closing and documents filing;
  • Client Invoicing;
  • Managing daily operational schedule;

Reporting and CS Procedure handling

  • Preparation of monthly inventory reports for customers;
  • Preparation of month end stock reconciliations;
  • Update and develop work procedures and work instructions;
  • Preparation of other reports as required by Customs and Customers

Client Relations

  • Maintain excellent relationship with the clients and understanding their business;
  • Understand customers’ requirements, accept customer orders or provide alternative logistic solution and translate these requirements into operational orders for smooth and timely execution;
  • Able to manage various customer requests and reporting requirements

Other Responsibilities

  • Taking into account the capabilities of the infrastructure and other ongoing cargo operations;
  • Proactive and organized daily activities and tasks;
  • Promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and high standard of interaction with third parties as well as with internal stakeholders;
  • Propose ideas for improvements to the department;
  • Dealing with Customs formalities and requirements arising from orders

What we are looking for

  • University or College Degree preferably in commerce or business
  • 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a Customer Service Role. We will support your growth, tailoring your development and responsibilities to help you thrive,
  • -Good knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Good knowledge of Greek language, mainly verbal
  • IT literate with good use of Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills
  • planning skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Willingness to work in a rotating morning and afternoon shift schedule during weekdays, and in a rotating on-call schedule out of working hours (including weekends).
