Fixed Assets Accountant

The responsibilities of the Fixed Assets Accountant are:

• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (acquisitions, depreciations, write-offs) ensuring compliance with Greek Accounting Standards.
• Monitor and reconcile myDATA transmissions related to assets and depreciation.
• Assist in the classification of expenses by understanding the business nature of the cost.
• Support the month-end closing process and prepare schedules for external audits.
• Participate in physical asset counts and inventory controls.

The qualifications of the Fixed Assets Accountant are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably in an Accounting or Audit firm.
• Solid knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards (ELP) and Tax Legislation.
• Good understanding of business operations to assess asset capitalization.
• Fluency in English and strong MS Excel skills.
