Inventory Control Specialist

Are you an experienced Inventory Control Specialist willing to join one of the leading Oil & Gas companies in Greece at its Aspropyrgos distribution center? In this role, you will be responsible for the daily management and monitoring of the inflow – outflow system to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

The responsibilities of the Inventory Control Specialist include:

  • Inventory Reconciliation: Coordinate daily accounting and customs inventory agreements, maintaining records in collaboration with the Distribution and Operations departments and state authorities (Customs, General Chemical State Laboratory).
  • Documentation & ERP Entry: Issue daily movement documents for tax warehouses and record purchases and customs clearances within the SAP (ERP) system.
  • System Management: Oversight of the Inflow-Outflow system, ensuring timely data entry according to current legislation.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve complex interface issues between various systems requiring a blend of business, networking, and IT knowledge.
  • Monitoring & Compliance: Supervise auxiliary systems (level measurement, meters, etc.) to ensure seamless communication with the GSI system and adherence to the Customs Code.
  • Special Projects: Coordinate the S4Hana Project regarding inventory management and movement documentation.
  • Training: Provide staff training on the Inflow-Outflow system through real and hypothetical scenarios.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

The ideal candidate should have:

  • University degree (AEI) in Sciences, Economics, or Business Administration
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP) and Inflow-Outflow systems (GSI)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Windows environments.
  • Previous experience in the Petroleum or Lubricants sector will be considered as an asset
