JOB PURPOSE
The Maintenance Coordinator will provide support and assistance to the Maintenance department in all office procedures and administration, ensuring the smooth running of all operations, in the most efficient and effective manner, though the effective management of the Hotel’ human resources, equipment and provisions; the Maintenance Coordinator will also be pro-active in maintaining and/or improving department profitability in accordance with the Hotel policies, procedures and standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the main point of contact for the Maintenance department with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all opening, closing, and daily operational tasks are completed according to established standards and procedures.
- Willingly perform tasks assigned by supervisors before, during, and after service hours.
- Demonstrate full knowledge of Maintenance operations, the location and functioning of equipment, hotel facilities, services, correct procedures, standards, and guest etiquette; consistently strive for improvement.
- Handle administrative tasks including managing emails, calls, scheduling, coordinating and tracking work orders, preparing reports, presentations, and meeting minutes, maintaining accurate records and databases, and ensuring Fidelio operates efficiently.
- Support the development and implementation of procedures to improve department efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders in line with business needs, and enforce strict controls over deliveries, storage, and stock rotation.
- Be cost-aware, suggest improvements, and take appropriate action to control expenses.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- University Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Minimum one year experience as Engineer or in similar position within Hotel Industry
- Must speak Greek & English very well. Knowledge of another language will be considered an advantage.

- Analytical Thinking
- Computer literate and familiar with Word and Excel
