Procurement Manager

ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client, a well-established company operating in the industrial production sector, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimize its procurement operations.

Procurement Manager (6284/PM/ESS/GR)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies across key direct and indirect purchasing categories, supporting the company’s operational and production requirements.
• Identify, evaluate and manage suppliers, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, timely delivery and continuity of supply.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage contractual agreements with key suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement and value creation.
• Manage procurement budgets and monitor expenditure to support cost control and financial objectives.
• Ensure the timely availability of required materials and resources to support business continuity and operational requirements.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Finance and other key stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs.
• Conduct market analysis, assess supply risks and develop alternative sourcing solutions to strengthen supply continuity.
• Support the optimization and continuous improvement of procurement processes and relevant ERP/e-procurement systems.
• Lead, mentor and develop the procurement team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve procurement policies, processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with the company’s operational and strategic objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a procurement position, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management and contract negotiations.
• Strong commercial acumen analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Effective leadership and people management skills, with the ability to drive team performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Greek and English is required.
