Responsibilities
Own and continuously prioritize the fintech backlog, focusing on pay-in / pay-out flows, payment methods, and operational improvements.
Manage day-to-day product operations in the payments domain, ensuring stable and predictable execution of fintech features.
Collaborate with Product Managers in the selection, evaluation, onboarding, and maintenance of payment providers, banks, and processors.
Act as a primary product point of contact for Engineering, QA, Product Analytics, and Financial Operations on fintech-related topics.
Translate business and operational requirements into clear functional requirements, user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
Support engineering teams during implementation by clarifying requirements, priorities, and edge cases.
Monitor and analyze payment performance metrics (success rates, declines, processing times, errors).
Participate in incident analysis and post-release reviews related to fintech functionality.
Gather insights from data, support cases, and internal stakeholders to improve user experience and system reliability.
Communicate status, dependencies, and issues clearly to the Product Team, escalating when necessary.
Requirements
- Interest in automation, tooling, and AI-driven operational improvements will be considered as an advantage.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Project Manager in fintech or payments.
- Hands-on experience of payment flows, transaction lifecycle, and third-party integrations.
- Strong ability to work closely with Engineering and operational teams on day-to-day execution.
- Experience translating operational and business needs into structured functional requirements.
- Strong prioritization skills in a fast-changing environment.
- Analytical mindset with practical experience working with metrics, logs, and dashboards.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and dependencies with guidance and assistance from senior roles.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and feature team setups.
- High level of ownership, attention to detail, and responsibility.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
