As a Senior Compliance Manager, you’ll lead and enhance our compliance framework, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices. You will play a key role in mitigating risks, advising senior stakeholders, and fostering a strong compliance culture across the organization.

Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to local and international regulations.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely updates to the compliance framework to remain in line with evolving laws.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities

Policy Development and Internal Controls:

  • Design and implement robust internal control systems to detect and prevent violations of compliance policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Review and enhance the company’s compliance strategy to align with industry best practices.

Reporting and Record Keeping:

  • Prepare detailed reports on compliance activities for senior management and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all compliance processes, including investigations, risk assessments, and regulatory submissions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of at least 5 years compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within the financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FCA, PRA, AML, GDPR, etc.).
  • Experience in managing compliance programs and regulatory audits.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., ICA, CISI, or similar) are a plus
