UCLan Cyprus and its Welfare and Community Department is seeking to appoint a full-time Welfare & Community Officer (Caretaker).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be responsible to ensure the compliance of safety, welfare and other related emergency policies and procedures of the University, by all staff, students and visitors.

  • Observe and report any building damage and problems or issues on various assets, outside and inside, owned by the University.

  • Be responsible for the safety of staff, students and visitors and the University, during all events and activities that occur at the University and within the University campus and land area.

  • Take responsibility for safe storage and secure disposing of confidential documents of each department of the University.

  • Support when requested the move or relocation of furniture and coordinate with Facilities Department accordingly.

  • To be able to work on shifts.

Qualifications

  • Basic technological knowledge or any other experience relevant to the caretaker position.

  • Excellent command of both Greek and English Language.

  • Good communication skills, attention to detail and good judge of character.

  • Trustworthy, with strong sense of duty, reliability and responsibility.
