HERFF JONES, Lead Person, Wax Room

YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
The Herff Jones Operations team, based in Warwick, RI is looking for a Lead Person to join our team in our Wax Department.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact:
In partnership with the Wax Team Manager, the Lead Person will direct all wax room personnel in the performance of their respective responsibilities in relation to Cost, Quality, Production and Delivery.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES:
Insures all team members are aware of the departments’ goals.

Insures all team members have the proper equipment to complete their operation.

Insures proper safety procedures are being followed.

Look for any potential problems that will hinder overall team goals.

Keeps the Manager informed of any bottlenecks.

Completes daily production logs.

Must be able to work with other Lead people/Managers in the departments before wax as well as after wax.

Operates within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:
2 -3 years of experience in a similar role in addition to meeting the following requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Ability to read and write in English is required.

Multi-tasking skills

Strong communication skills

Excellence organizational and recorded keeping skills are critical.

Must be able to work overtime and on Saturdays during busy seasons.

Ability to establish priorities and work independently.

Ability to work well with people having different ethnic, social, or educational backgrounds; understand the cultural differences of different groups.
