responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Logistics & Distribution Manager include:

• Organization support and supervision of Distribution Department.
• Organization support and supervision of Warehouse Department.
• Organization support and supervision of Procurement Department.
• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
• In charge for all supply chain operation of the Group.
• Ensure premises, assets and communication ways, are used effectively.
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures.
• Recruit and coordinate logistics staff , according to availabilities and requirements.
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs.
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
• Act as a replacement for Global Supply chain Director.
• Intercompany Support 
• Cooperation with all departments of the company

The ideal candidates for the Logistics & Distribution Manager should have:

• University degree will be considered as an asset
• At least 4 years of experience in relevant positions
• Experience in Project Management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
• Attitude to multi task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coach teams and empower them
