Manager, College Partnerships – Home-Based

The Manager, College Partnerships is responsible for cultivating, reinvigorating and managing collegiate partnerships with entities such as Greek, academic and faith-based organizations. Engagement will be at both national and regional level with focus on providing superior partnership service and results that save lives. This is a home-based position that can be located anywhere in the U.S.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Partnership Development & Management:
Prospect, evaluate, negotiate and close new partnership opportunities.

Act as relationship manager to collegiate partnerships acting as primary partnerships point of contact to current and future contracted partners.

Plan and develop prospect presentations, proposals and contracts.

Responsible for meeting or exceeding partnership key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsible for renewal of collegiate partnerships.

Manage the vetting of inbound business inquiries; analyze/assess key business risks and opportunities with internal stakeholders.

Act as supervisor to college partnership interns.

Create, evangelize, and execute upon strategic partnership plans including growth strategies and operational deployment.

Primary college partnerships liaison to internal stakeholders such BTM Regional/National Marketing, Account Management, Foundation and Volunteer Services.

Primary college partnerships liaison to external stakeholders such as Network Partners.

Collaborate with peer BTM partnership manager(s) to provide one BTM voice and partnership experience in market.

Monitor and provide timely and on-brand responses to all to inbound partnership inquiries and stakeholders.

Anticipate the needs for internal and external stakeholders erring on the side of overcommunication and transparency.

Collaborate closely with BTM Marketing Specialist(s) to create, execute and measure marketing strategies that support the growth and development of college partnerships.

Audit, expand or reinvent partnership communication plans, swag, and incentives.

Responsible for maintaining master list serve of all collegiate partnerships.

Collaborate closely with BTM’s Volunteer Services and College Program Manager to build programs that utilize student volunteers.

Identify and act upon operational inefficiencies to drive scalability of programs.

Key trainer for all college partnerships to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsible for partnership reporting and trend analysis to internal and external partnership stakeholders.

Subject Matter Expert:
Continuously expand subject matter expertise in college partnerships target audience.

Maintain knowledge of common college and university policies, standards, and communication preferences.

Monitor and keep the ME3 leadership and field recruitment teams abreast of major college industry market trends that impact how the organization engages college students and administrators.

Both be personally organized and provide vision and leadership in an organized and succinct way to colleagues and partners.

Simultaneously manage multiple partnerships/initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Thrive in a highly collaborative environment.

Communicate effectively to multiple audiences (including ME3 senior leadership, Network Partners, Account Managers, college administrators and students) through multiple channels.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s in business or other closely related field.

7+ years subject matter expertise in higher education.

4+ years managing partnerships and/or accounts.

Experience prospecting, managing and renewing business at an 80%+ partner retention rate.

Leading student groups.

Working with clients or leaders from multiple backgrounds and disciplines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)

Master’s in education, business or closely related field.

Leading full-time employees.

Background in Collegiate Greek Life, Academic Organizations and/or Religious Organizations.

Connections into regional and national potential partnerships.

Experience creating and revitalizing partnerships.
