HERFF JONES, Order Puller – Champaign, IL
YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
The Herff Jones Operations team, based in Champaign, IL is looking for an Order Puller to join our team.
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting in the order fulfillment process by pulling and packing orders efficiently and accurately for customers.

But don’t worry, we would never ask an employee to take on an assignment they didn’t already have the right skill sets they needed to succeed. As we see it for right now, however, here are the challenges that we want you to tackle:
Efficiently pull graduation apparel items (caps, gowns, hoods, and any accessory items) from warehouse shelves corresponding with the order.
Check items for accuracy according to the customer order.
Construct boxes, pack boxes with items, and place on a conveyor to be shipped by the scale operator.
Cross-train to work in multiple departments throughout the warehouse when business needs dictate.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
3+ months experience in a similar role (order pulling/picking/packing preferred) in addition to meeting the following requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet efficiency goals
Daily activity includes but is not limited to lifting, carrying, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking; standing or moving throughout an 8 hour+ shift; be able to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs; noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
