HERFF JONES, Outsourcing Coordinator – Arcola, IL
As a member of the Quality/Procurement team you’ll play an integral role in shaping the future of Herff Jones. Above all else, you’ll be an agent for change as we launch multiple new initiatives to streamline how we do business and increase the quality of product we deliver to our clients. In this role you will have regular interaction with the Procurement Manager and Quality Supervisor.
What we want you to accomplish
Execute on the outsource processing plan
Accurate sending and receiving of orders from internal departments and external vendors
Timely distribution and processing of incoming and outgoing product
Core Activities:
Receive product from the production floor
Process product of various quality levels
Check and record incoming product
Pack orders to various vendors for completion
Unpack and distribute orders to the appropriate departments
Provide cross functional support in other areas as needed such as shipping
Perform other miscellaneous tasks
Success Indicators
Successfully execute daily processing of orders to achieve vendor unit projection plan
Accurate recording of product received
Proficient computer skills: intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
Previous experience in a shipping/receiving role
Proven success in effectively communicating across all levels of an organization
Demonstrated ability to organize shipments per vendor locations
Ability to establish priorities and work independently
Demonstrates multitasking skills
Availability to work overtime as needed
Education
High school diploma/GED equivalent suggested
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 10-50 lbs. multiple times a day
Ability to travel around the office and the factory briskly, several times a day
