responsibilities

As a PHP Back-end Developer, you will be developing software for the tourism industry and your duties will be the following:

• Maintain and update company’s website and other digital projects
• Manage and execute all content updates on company’s website and other digital projects
• Build engaging and interactive web pages that are optimized to be mobile responsive 
• Maintain and update our WordPress CMS instances
• Perform ongoing keyword expansion and optimization

requirements

In order for your profile to match the PHP Back-end Developer position, you need to have the following skills:

• 3+ years of experience using any PHP framework(s) (e.g. Symfony, or Yii, or Laravel, or CakePHP, or CodeIgniter etc)
• Degree in IT or relative field
• Experience in utilize a Content Management System(CMS) to develop website pages, landing pages, blog forms, email and analytics
• Experience in RESTful APIs, Web Services and MySQL databases
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience as WordPress administrator including plugin development
• Knowledge of software version control using Git
• Familiarity with Linux server management (e.g. Ubuntu)
• Very good communication skills in both Greek and English
• Completed military obligations, if applicable

The following will be considered an asset:

• Experience with NoSQL databases e.g. MongoDB
• Experience with Angular
• Mobile Web Application Design & Development
• Experience with coding email templates
• DNS administration
