Description
Primary duties will be to teach New Testament and Greek courses, and to participate actively as a full-time member of the resident faculty. (Rank to be determined based on qualifications and experience.)
Duties and Responsibilities*
Teach 18 hours per year in the master’s and doctor of ministry programs
Mentor students, serve on committees, and participate actively in the life of the school, fulfilling the responsibilities detailed in the Faculty Handbook
Actively research, publish, and participate in scholarly societies
Supervise up to 2 MA BTS individualized studies per semester
Supervise up to 3 DMin projects per year

The qualified candidate will:
have a completed doctorate in New Testament or related field
exhibit personal godliness as evidenced by the NT qualifications for an elder
be in agreement with the Phoenix Seminary faculty teaching position
possess teaching experience
show evidence of the ability to do quality scholarship and to contribute to the broader academic community
evidence a strong commitment to the local church, including being a member in good standing of an evangelical, Protestant church
have pastoral experience (preferred)
have native or full professional Spanish fluency (preferred)
