responsibilities

As a Project Engineer Manager your responsibilities will include the following:

• Estimate and prepare project budget ensuring resource availability and allocation
• Monitor and update project schedule developing an extensive project plan to track progress
• Collect and store all the relevant project documentation ensuring the appropriate communication and report plan
• Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility
• Review and assessment of technical documentation, drawings etc.
• Manage the relationship with the client including reply to customer technical questions
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties, suppliers and vendors
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Record lessons learned for every project
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques contributing to project engineering optimization
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques and standards throughout entire project execution
• Managing day-to-day operational aspects of projects

requirements

As the ideal candidate for the Project Engineer Manager position, you should possess:

• Bsc in Engineering, Naval or Mechanical is preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant role
• Previous experience in the maritime industry would be considered a valuable asset
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
• Very good knowledge of english; oral and written communication
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Self motivated and highly collaborative
• Travelling availability
