responsibilities

As a Senior Cost Estimator your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze drawings and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to contract award costs as the project develops
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
• Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
• Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work
• Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors
• Assist in developing cost documents such as project management plans for the duration of the project
• Respond to cost needs for the duration of the project

requirements

As a Senior Cost Estimator in this role, you must have the following requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• 7-10 years of experience in Cost Estimation in the Construction
• Ability to work with a team or independently
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Excellent command of the English language
