responsibilities

As a Senior Front-end developer you will:

• Develop elegant, maintainable, testable, and reusable code
• Develop enterprise driven web and mobile-based applications
• Develop enhancements to existing software lines as well as design and develop new ones
• Work with stakeholders to understand and document software requirements, and ensure application meets functional requirements; produce and maintain product documentation
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and unit testing
• Interface with business domain experts and advise on best technology guidelines
• Ensure technical integrity and quality control consistency throughout the development life cycle
• Build modern and performant User Interfaces that will serve clients running on diverse devices, OSes and browsers
• Mentor Junior Developers by reviewing code and sharing knowledge

The minimum technical requirements for this Front-end Developer position are:

• 4 years of proven experience in JavaScript/Typescript development
• Solid technical understanding of the recent Javascript and Typescript Language Specifications – Types, Prototypal Inheritance and Classes, Closures, Event Loop and Async Patterns
• Strong HTML5 / CSS3 experience – Layouts, Animations, Compatibility, Accessibility
• Deep understanding of the HTTP protocol and RESTful Web Services
• Deep understanding of the JSON/XML data formats
• Strong experience on the ReactJS Framework – Rendering Process, Hooks, Context
• Good knowledge of the React ecosystem – React Query, Zustand, React Router, NextJS, CSS-in-JS

The following skills will be considered assets:

• Strong understanding of Functional Programming Patterns
• Experience on Linux OS – Debian, Ubuntu or any other distro
• Solid background of agile development – Scrum semantics
• Strong understanding of CI/CD flows
• Understand processes and deliverables associated with each systems life cycle phases
• Knowledge of frontend optimization and performance techniques
• Proven development of innovative and impactful software solutions
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well with others as well as independently
