The Role. This role is newly created due to international growth. The Senior International Accountant will be directly involved in the month-end close of our UK subsidiaries, day to day general ledger accounting, and elimination of intercompany transactions, consolidated financial reporting and working with the Company’s international third parties. This role reports to the Controller.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Record monthly journal entries and prepare account reconciliations of the subsidiary ledger in an accurate and timely manner
  • Coordinate required billing via client system or internal system as applicable
  • Monitor outstanding AP and ensure timely payments to vendors
  • Reconcile intercompany balances between subsidiaries
  • Record monthly payroll based on third-party reporting
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers regarding payroll, statutory reporting, and other requirements
  • Maintain a continued focus on improving system efficiencies and process design.
  • Compile various reporting schedules for quarterly/annual filings as required under local statutory requirements
  • Collaborate with FP&A team to produce meaningful subsidiary and project-level reporting
  • Provide technical accounting guidance/support to cross-functional team members
  • Support Controller on audits, ad hoc reporting and projects
  • Minimum Requirements: *
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • 4-6 years of accounting or finance experience
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient in US GAAP
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment
  • Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite
  • Experience working with foreign subsidiaries and currency translation is a plus
  • Professional certification (i.e., CPA) is a plus
