The Separator Operator is responsible for separating whole milk into skim and cream, and for the set up and washing of equipment.
Responsibilities
Set up, operator, monitor separators for production and CIP
Set up product lines, raw, skim, and cream tanks for production and CIP
Test skim and cream butterfat as necessary
Monitor milk inventory to ensure tanks are filled, emptied, and washed according to limits outlined in the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance
Communicate with other departments frequently to ensure job tasks are carried out
Perform other duties as assigned
Follow Chobani safety procedures
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
Requirements
6 or more months in a production environment
High School Diploma, or equivalent
