DUTIES

The Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Thompson Rivers University requires a sessional instructor to teach fourth year acting (THTR 4600 Sept – Dec, THTR 4610 Jan – April – 1 section each) in the BA theatre major program.

Advanced performance courses, Theatre 4600 and 4610 together are an intensive two-semester study of acting styles in various historical periods. Acting students will study 4 styles which may include Greek, Shakespearean, Farce, Commedia, Comedy of Manners and Theatre of the Absurd, and explore various methods of performing in these plays.

QUALIFICATIONS

M.F.A.(Theatre/ Performance) Required
