Position: Tenant Programs Coordinator
Position Summary:
Hellenic Home for the Aged Inc. is looking for a full-time Tenant Programs Coordinator (One Year). The incumbent is responsible for assessing the activation needs of tenants; planning, directing and evaluating the activity programs for the facility
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes and directs all activities, workshops, sessions, events and programs for the tenants
Identifies changes in the senior’s needs and modifies programs as required.
Evaluates the effectiveness of activation programs on an ongoing basis.
Communicates the schedule of planned activities and encourages participation by tenant, families/significant others, and staff.
Qualifications:
Secondary School Graduation Diploma and successful completion of a certificate/diploma/degree in Activation/Recreation from an accredited college, university or equivalent.
Incumbent responsible for managing recreation and leisure services must be qualified by education and experience for the responsibilities of the position.
Preference will be given to individuals with experience working with seniors, specifically in a management role.
Greek speaking is an asset
Terms Of Employment: Full Time
Salary: Commensurate upon experience.
