Trade Marketing Specialist

We’ re looking for aTrade Marketing Specialistwith great customer service and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a trade marketing activation plan aligned with the overall commercial and marketing strategy focusing on brands storytelling, display, promotions. He/ She will be a member of the Marketing Team and as such he/she will provide direct assistance to the Group Marketing Manager.
Position is based in Athens premises (Agia Paraskevi).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute trade promotional plans in all Cosmos Sport Banners and assist with the development of Trade Marketing materials, communications, and selling stories for our Commercial and Marketing Team.
- Μonitor, collect and analyze competitive display status, competitive promotions, foot traffic & sell-out data and direct the marketing and sales teams where to take actions and support on the decision making.
- involved in and/or be accountable for the execution of specific marketing activities (e.g. consumer and trade promotion activities, special packs, marketing activations, PR programs, displays, etc.)
- Support the briefing process for the coming activations and marketing communications to external parties (creative agencies, supporting partners etc) and execute the assigned plans/activations keeping milestones and the overall timeline during product development strategies.
- Actively take part in product launches and execute related activation material
- Develop recommendations and insights that can influence Commercial decisions.
- Identify best practices in the industry and share across customer and channel teams providing insights
- Be involved in ad-hoc Marketing Projects as needed
- Develop, automate, monitor, and report metrics, responsible for daily/weekly/monthly performance reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Μaster’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration etc
- 2+ years specialized experience in Trade Marketing ideally involved in Retail Industry
- Team working mentality
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Very strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Critical thinking and initiative
- A high level of agility & flexibility
- Able to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines.
- Able to understand, partner and align cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, and Marketing functions towards common goals and deliverables
- Demonstrate skills in developing trade insights that can be converted to actions.
