Trading Analyst

Responsibilities

The candidate will join the trader analyst team in charge of, among others,

  • Managing intraday risk analysis on pure FO metrics (i.e. metrics not part of RISQ and regulatory framework) like Greeks and sensitivities to different risk factors (Spot, Volatility, Dividend, Repo, Forex etc), non-official VaR and stress tests and pre-trade simulations.
  • Computing estimated End of Day PnL and product repricing
  • Coding and backtesting of QIS strategies
  • Producing report for trading and trading management
  • Producing daily and weekly dashboards to better monitor the trading activity (corporate actions, product lifecycle, position reports, …)
  • Answering Front Office ad-hoc request and reporting
  • Developing tools to optimize processes or scarce resources using programming languages (VBA, Python, javascript, …) for macros and IT teams for the global industrialized tools
  • Liaise with other departments to work on transversal and regulatory projects
  • Other processes of interest to MARK/TRD that cannot be characterized as official metrics/tasks
  • Any future projects/tasks that does not involve official data

  • Work in high pressure environment with very short deadline.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to effectively interact and influence at all levels within the organization including traders, brokers, operations, IT development, infrastructure, etc.
  • Team player with collaborate attitude
  • Comfortable working in a very dynamic environment, with rapidly changing organizations and priorities
  • Project management skills working with both strategic and tactical projects

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • In depth knowledge of Equity Derivatives products, especially exotic products, volatility products and 1Delta products
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python, VBA, Javascript)
  • Strong understanding of US and global regulatory environments
  • Understanding of electronic trading platforms, algorithmic trading, and derivatives
  • General understanding of broker dealer operations and back office trade flows

EDUCATION

Required:

  • Degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field

Desired

  • Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field

FINRA LICENSING

Required: SIE, 7, 63
