Upper School Latin Teacher

Ascent Classical Academy seeks to hire a classics teacher. The candidate should have a strong background in the Latin language, having majored in classics, classical history, or a related discipline with substantial coursework in Latin. ?The ability to teach other subjects related to the classics (e.g., literature, history, Greek, or another foreign language) would be an advantage. The Latin teacher will serve as a valuable resource at the school for all things classical and grammatical. ?

Ascent Classical Academies operate K-12 classical charter schools. ?Latin is a required course in grades six through eight, and high-school students must take a full year of Latin to graduate. Often students will take Latin through the senior year.
