The Web Application Support Engineer role has a variety of responsibilities:

• Support the operational management of company’s IT systems and get actively involved in all aspects of the development of systems and web applications (eCommerce, CMS, etc.)
• Responsible for the support of web applications and the day to day communication with end-users
• Liaise with end-users & developing team in order to achieve these outcomes
• Provide training and support to internal teams
• Conduct testing to ensure that the systems work as expected and train end-users while also debugging the systems and ensuring that they are error-free
• Collaborate with DevOps team and optimize monitor of the web applications
• Create and enhance incident operations playbook
• Prepare a broad variety of reports and provide data and management insights

The ideal Web Application Support Engineer will have the following skills:

• Hands on experience with programming languages like Java 
• SQL working experience (complex queries, data extraction or identification etc.)
• Familiarity with system testing (preparing test plans, verification of error correction, etc.)
• Working knowledge in any eCommerce Platform
• Excellent communication skills
