responsibilities
As a junior accountant you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the sales and purchase ledger by posting journal entries and reconciling the trial balance to the general ledger
- Posting invoices
- Supplier’s reconciliation
- Assisting in the monthly closing (journal entries and preparation of supporting documents),bank reconciliations, cash flow preparation and other treasury matters
- Support in reporting and the preparation of management accounts
- Filing and archiving of financial records, including bank statements
- Supporting the annual statutory audit and tax audit of the company
requirements
To be an ideal candidate for the junior accountant position, you should have:
- Accounting/Finance University degree
- 1 -2 years experience in accounting department
- Strong Computer Skills (Excel, Word)
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong data entry skills
- Ability to work on various projects at a time
- Attention to detail
