I refer to the Governor of the Reception and Identification Service. The main tasks I undertake on a daily basis, include the provision of day-to-day office management, internal management of room booking and general administration and secretarial support. Mostly, I assist the Governor in his daily tasks, including practical support, such as preparing letters, notes, booking and purchasing tickets, managing missions, drafting documents, templates and reports, etc. Other responsibilities include managing documents, registering incoming and outcoming correspondence, screening of incoming mail and phone calls and providing project assistance/implementation support.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT – HELLENIC AMERICAN UNION
My position implied with general responsibilities of a personal assistant/secretary to the President and CEO of an organization, meaning keeping the agenda, scheduling appointments, preparing and sending correspondence and holding meeting minutes. My main responsibilities included organizing and running the daily tasks and supervising the office staff in order to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, I prepared all the required presentations for Press Conferences and meetings. Office material supplies were monitored on a weekly basis, in order to be of sufficient quantities for the needs of the office. The fact that the President was involved with politics in the US, also gave me the possibility to learn and to practice my skills and academic qualifications on politics. Finally, the President of the Hellenic American Union was also President of the “International Congregation of Agia Sophia”, and actively involved with the Macedonian Issue, which provided me with tasks involving the writing of the drafts of the books the President was preparing on the subject, performing extensive research and evaluating and filing the members and organizing the Council’s activities. I acted as liaison for the Board of Directors and was responsible for the minute taking of the BoD meetings.
During my service at the Hellenic American Union, I was also appointed as coordinator of the english language examinations. This meant that I was the focal point of the candidates, the examiners and proctors, as well as the foreign language teachers. My responsibilities included the safe transfer of the examination material, the smooth operation and professional conduct of the testing.
