Job Description

Summary

The Compliance Specialist will supporting either Certifications, Product or Markets compliance teams.

Responsibilities

Certifications Focus:

  • Coordinate, process and monitor product certification projects for established and new regulated e-gaming markets
  • Communicate frequently with regulatory authorities for confirmation of regulatory
  • approvals to ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements and are approved as per jurisdictional standards
  • Maintain knowledge and assist in the analysis of e-gaming technical compliance standards in established and newly regulated markets
  • Within the remit of the role, identify, improve, and document business processes to align with compliance requirements and increase the efficiency of such processes
  • Assist with maintaining a library of technical standard documents, and in keeping accurate and up-to-date records for product certifications
  • Develop project plans and track progress; prepare and maintain status reports and schedules, track milestones/deliverables and dependencies
  • Prepare any relevant reports and summaries to ensure timely dissemination of information to all interested parties, including senior management, department heads, and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.

Products Focus:

  • Coordinate, process and monitor live casino and RNG products´ and gambling features´ compliance with all relevant technical regulations in established and new regulated e-gaming markets including EU, Africa, North America and LATAM
  • Communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with regulatory authorities, certification and test laboratories for approvals, handling issues, notifying of key events and to ensure all products meet regulatory requirements for its jurisdictions
  • Own all control systems and work closely and collaboratively with other key stakeholders internally and externally to ensure technical compliance of products at all times, identify risks or issues and evaluate and improve them continuously
  • Continuously identify, document and increase efficiencies of business processes to align with technical compliance requirements
  • Investigate and analyse technical features and product compliance standards in new regulated markets and assists with developing solutions for these markets
  • Develop project plans, reports and schedules to higher management, relevant internal and external stakeholders and teams to manage expectations and to ensure work is delivered within scope, on time and within budget

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements and Competences

  • 1+ Year experience in a technical/IT role
  • Secondary education
  • Fluent English to a high standard both verbal and written (additional languages like Spanish, Dutch, Greek or German are a plus)
  • Knowledge of gambling products
  • Good level of computer skills, experience in spreadsheets
  • Basic knowledge in Project management
  • Experience and knowledge of Customer Service principles
  • Experience working with remote teams and peers
  • High sense of responsibility, motivation & result driven attitude
  • Adaptability and high stress resistance
  • Good analytical skills and attention to details
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate professionally with external and internal clients alike.
  • The ability to work in a team
  • Ability to travel outside the country (infrequently) is a requirement
