Contracts Administrator

Summary

Chobani is seeking a proactive, business-minded and self-motivated Contracts Administrator to provide professional legal support to our in-house Legal Team through a range of tasks. This individual will be primarily responsible for maintaining our general files and contract management database including gathering documents, reporting and contracting processes, and will also be responsible for fielding and responding to business requests relating to legal inquiries and drafting basic agreements.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, accurate legal support and assistance to in-house Legal Team

Play an integral role within the Legal Team by corresponding and fielding various requests from the business and external parties

Educate business on legal related matters

Enter company agreements into Chobani’s contract management system for tracking and ongoing management in an organized manner; including managing and maintaining with the business all contract renewals and terminations

Manage contract work flows

Maintain and update contract form database and contract templates and processes

Draft basic legal agreement

Assist with electronic signature processes

Assist legal department with process improvement projects focused on increasing efficiency and improving service provided to organization

Administrative and direct support for various Legal Operations projects

Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

Associates degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience

Experience with legal agreements, contractual terms and contracting processes

Technology-savvy with experience in contract management systems, electronic signature platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Sharepoint)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented, organized, efficient and resourceful with strong follow-through skills

Able to work effectively with all levels of employees

Posess a practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving and be able to effectively work with teams to meet business needs

Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage projects, and offer a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment

Able to operate autonomously while being a team player who brings a positive, “can do” attitude to the workplace and works collaboratively with other members of the Legal team and with clients

Have a strong desire to learn the business and function integrally as part of an interdisciplinary team

Be able to simultaneously manage workloads, multiple client demands and shifting priorities within a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment

Be hard-working, confident, a self-starter and have a passion for results

Functions with high degree of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy and can be trusted with highly confidential materials and sensitive information
