Advises at least one governing greek council and manages budget, recruitment and programming efforts for the council.
Assists the Associate Director with developing programming and administrative responsibilities for Fraternity and Sorority Life.
Provides general policy guidelines and accountability. Reviews, evaluates and makes recommendation on Fraternity and Sorority life policies and guidelines.
Provides individual chapter support and assists in expansion efforts.
Oversees the Gold Star program and maintains grade reports each semester. Ensures the chapter offers continual education and meets chapter accreditation.
Assists with Fraternity & Sorority Life social media and marketing initiatives.
Serves on Division-wide committees and assist with Student Life signature events.
Participates and supports overall Student Life programs and initiatives.
Employee will have access to a third party system (software, gateway, etc.) that processes, transmits, and/or stores cardholder information. May handle cash/gift card transactions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience or Master’s degree in a related discipline.
Departmental Requirements
Some evening and occasional weekend, including student retreats and/or conference travel, will be required.
Experience with program planning.
Experience in an education setting.
Desired Qualifications
Master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization (Higher Education, College Student Personnel, Counseling, etc).
Experience with or understanding of Sorority and Fraternity Life.
Experience and/or passion for working with a dynamic and diverse student population are essential.
Professionalism and confidentiality of all students and departmental information is required.
Ability to think critically and creatively.
