U.S. Senator Robert Menendez is seeking a hard-working, energetic and dedicated individual to join his Jersey City, New Jersey office. This is a fast-paced position that requires at least a college degree, valid driver’s license, and excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Responsibilities include community relations building through organizational outreach, with an emphasis on the religious and cultural institutions of various communities in New Jersey, including Jewish, Coptic, Greek, Korean, Indian, Armenian, and others; keeping a pulse on local, national, and international issues affecting these communities; staffing the Senator at public events while he is in the state, including nights and weekends when necessary; as well as constituent services and other tasks when needed.
The office is looking for someone familiar with New Jersey government and deeply familiar with several of these communities. This office is an equal opportunity employer.
