What Will You Be Doing?
As a Student Success Ambassador, you will assist in the implementation of campus recruitment strategies that will attract high-achieving students to work for EAW. You will advocate for EAW and help to identify high-caliber students for EAW positions by actively participating in campus recruitment including, University Events, New Student Orientation, Classroom Presentations, and other outreach strategies. In addition, you will engage EAW’s current student staff to maintain positive morale and ensure that EAW and University resources are being used to support student success.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Engage with campus stakeholders to create brand awareness around the EAW student value proposition
Assist with event planning to create innovative and engagement events on campus
Recruit high-caliber student candidates on campus
Serve as main point of contact for various university stakeholders including but not limited to student organizations, Greek letter organizations and professors
Assist in internal recruiting strategies, including but not limited to employee referral programs and social media contests
Promote student-centered environment with students and professional staff population
Participate phone screens, on-site interview scheduling and other recruitment duties for both student and professional positions.
Other duties as assigned by manager.

Comfortable interacting with college students and their families, as well as university faculty and staff
Strong verbal, interpersonal, and professional communication skills
Comfortable interviewing and interacting with college students
Comfort with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
Interest in a job that requires persistence, leadership, and results obtainment
Excellent time management skills
Ability to learn quickly and take initiative
Driven, happy and passionate
Qualifications
Currently enrolled at the U of U or a nearby college/university (Preference given to current EAW students)
Knowledge of College Campus Culture
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
Ability to work 25-30 hours per week
Previous campus recruiting experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Proven ability to cultivate and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders
Working Conditions
This position operates predominately in an office setting with occasional meetings and events on various college/university campuses. Hours can vary and some evening/weekend work may be necessary. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and Microsoft software.
