responsibilities

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will join and lead a team of experienced IT professionals with very good technical skills. Your main responsibilities will be the following: 

• Implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in some cases, designing TCP/IP networks
• Implementing network infrastructure projects to improve, enhance or replace client network infrastructures
• Gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements
• Monitoring network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Configuring and installing various network devices & services (eg. routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
• Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including patches, fixes and security configurations
• Ensuring the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to providing maximum performance for their users
• Suggesting improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
• Developing and maintaining strong trust-based relationships with clients
• Working collaboratively with different teams to build out and support integrated solutions
• Guiding and coaching team with design, build, test and deploy activities
• Leading activities and deliverables against plan

requirements

For this Senior Network Engineer position, you need to have the following skills:

• Bachelor Degree in IT or related field
• 5+ years of experience in developing rich, large-scale network solutions
• 5+ years of experience in Routing (TCP/IP, HSRP/VRRP/GSLB, ARP, IP SLA, OSPF, BGP), Switching (Campus & Data centre environments) and Security (firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS, IPSec, SSL)
• Very good communication skills and excellent command of the English language 
• CCIE certification will be a strong asset
• Multivendor experience will be highly appreciated
• Working knowledge of Citrix products (especially NetScaler family) will be considered as an asset
